The 2022 outdoor season is upon us.

After a winter season still impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, Edmonton Fusion FC continues its preparation for the 2022 outdoor season with a busy schedule. Overview.

Men’s team.

After missing out on a move up to division 1 last year, the men’s team is preparing for a second season in division 2 EDSA. The group has begun its pre-season with regular practices. The men’s team is looking for serious and committed players to complete the group and aim for a move up to division 1.

Pro Soccer Training

Postponed due to the pandemic, the Pro Soccer Training program is finally up and running since February 7th. This program, led by Paul Addo, a former professional player who played for about 10 years in the Norwegian 1st division, allows young players to develop their technical, mental, physical and tactical skills.
Each week, the Pro Soccer Training program allows a group of 10 young players to have additional and complementary sessions to their club training to perform better.

Pre-Academy Soccer en Français 2022

Edmonton’s premier soccer program for children in French is back. This year, Edmonton Fusion FC is offering a great program for French-speaking kids in the city who want to play soccer in their mother tongue, or improve their French.
New for 2022: the spring and summer seasons are combined and youths from the U7 category will benefit from two sessions per week to optimize their learning, for a total of 31 sessions. Also, the opening of a new category: U15

For the pleasure of children and parents, Edmonton Fusion FC and the newspaper Le Franco have renewed their partnership to offer 4 special pages in the last edition of the newspaper in June where you will find pictures of the players and team. A nice souvenir that participants will be able to hang on their bedroom walls.

Volunteers needed

Edmonton Fusion FC is a non-profit organization operated by volunteers. In order to maintain its growth, the club is looking for volunteers to sit on its Board of Directors in the following roles:

  • Director in charge of the Academy
  • Director in charge of the adult competitive teams.
  • Director in charge of Futsal
  • Director of Fundraising
  • Director in charge of Community Liaison
  • Director in charge of recreational activities
  • Director in charge of events
