Golden Goals: Soccer for Seniors
Once a year, Edmonton Fusion FC joins forces with FAFA (Fédération des aînés franco-albertains), the FSFA (Fédération du sport francophone de l’Alberta) and the Association La colonne – Mamans Dynamiques, to allow seniors to enjoy the benefits of soccer in a friendly atmosphere.
“Soccer between seniors”, played by individuals in the later stages of life, offers a program for active engagement and enjoyment in the sport.
This form of soccer is tailored to the needs and preferences of seniors, focusing on maintaining physical health, social interaction, and the joy of playing the game. It provides an inclusive and supportive environment where seniors can share their passion for soccer, fostering a sense of camaraderie and well-being.
Led by the Edmonton Fusion FC coaches The emphasis is not only on the game itself but also on the positive impact it has on the overall health and happiness of the participants.
