Pre-season gets off to an energetic start for the Edmonton Fusion FC men’s team
The Edmonton Fusion FC men’s team is currently preparing for an exciting season in the regional Division 1.
Club President Joris Desmares Decaux is confident that the team is well suited for the challenges ahead. “We are working hard to strengthen our squad and we have a combination of experienced players and young talent,” he says. “I am confident we can achieve our goals this season.”
The club’s preseason plan is busy, with several training sessions per week. Players are working on different aspects of the game, such as tactics, technique, or fitness. The coaches are determined to improve the team’s performance and prepare them for the upcoming games.
The EDSA Division 1 season will be completely free for the players selected in the group. This is great news for players who want to continue playing at a high level without the often expensive costs associated with soccer.
A good first session
In the first session of the preseason, 20 players participated in technical drills and a mini-game. This session allowed the players to become familiar with each other and work together before the season began. The coaches also evaluated the players to determine the strengths and weaknesses of each player.
Edmonton Fusion FC prides itself on having a combination of experienced players and young talent. The experienced players bring a solid knowledge of the game and leadership on the field, while the young talent brings energy and creativity.
The club recently completed a successful season by winning the regional and provincial championship titles, which earned them promotion to Division 1. The players are determined to continue this momentum and achieve even better results in the new division. The existing players remain the cornerstone of the team, but the club is also looking for new talent to strengthen the roster.
Players interested in joining Edmonton Fusion FC have the opportunity to contact the club for tryouts. The coaches are always looking for new talent to improve the team’s level of play and to achieve the club’s goals.
