2023 kicked off with the launch of the SoccArt day camp, an Alberta first. The camp introduced an innovative approach, combining high-level training sessions with the discovery of cultural activities led by professional artists. This synergy provided an enriching experience, broadening the horizons of the young players beyond the soccer field. Meanwhile, the U13 team got off to an impressive start to the season, racking up eight wins in as many games, underlining the quality of the club’s development program.
2023, a year of progress
The competitive scene also witnessed the emergence of the Edmonton Fusion FC men’s team, which had a fine run, finishing 5th in EDSA Division 1 in its first season. This performance put the team just outside the top of the table, testifying to their rapid progress and remarkable competitiveness. Also, second place in the multicultural soccer tournament despite the absence of many key players.
